240lbs to 120lbs
Just wanted to share my story maybe it can be motivation to others. In no way do I think I'm anywhere near "perfect" but I'm still proud of how far I've come. I've lost 120 pounds. Unfortunately due to all the loose skin I look fatter than I am. Anyways I've always been a bigger girl, but I started to get really big. At my heaviest weight I was 250 pounds, I'm only 5'4. I always talked about wanting to loose weight but never took any action. I finally talked to my doctor about it and he said he thought I would need surgery but I woke up one day ready for a change, it was June 2017. I always ate fast food, junk food, never cooked dinner. I went grocery shopping that day so I could start making meals and eating healthier. The next day I started going to the gym, man was that hard at first. I could barely make it a mile on the treadmill before having to stop. I now go to the gym every day, it's turned into something I really enjoy like my day doesn't feel complete without going. I run 5 miles a day now. It's not even just about the weight loss to me, yea that's good and all but my overall health is so much better. I literally use to get out of breathe going up a few stairs now I'm running 5 miles a day. I feel SO much better physically. I just can't wait til I get there mentally. Loosing so much weight kind of messes with your head, a lot of days you look in the mirror and still see the fat girl and like I previously stated I have SO much loose skin especially on my stomach from the weight loss so that really brings me down most days. I thought after loosing so much weight I would have a super flat belly but sadly that's not the case but despite how I may look I'm still very proud of myself. 120 pounds is a lot of weight to loose naturally. So anyways long story short you can do it if you set your mind to it. I want to wish everyone luck who is focusing on a weight loss journey. May you get the results you're hoping for!!
