Just be honest, that way he doesn't keep hinting/trying, and you can go back to doing whatever you were doing. Sometimes I'll throw out lots of signs to my hubby, knowing that he knows what I'm getting at, get minimal reaction, and he doesn't flat out tell me he's not really up to it until I straight up ask for sex. Sometimes I wish he would just tell me sooner so I can stop wasting time hinting and go rub one out without him, lol.
