The doctor asked the nurses to take out the NG tube to see how he does without it and with me feeding him. So far 3 feedings with me and he’s ate everything. Of course he’s still struggling with the last part but he eats it. The night nurse told me that the doctor is testing him and if he does the minimum of good feedings (I’m not sure how many that’ll be) then we’re good. If not, then he will put it back tmmrw. I told my hubby that we need to go to every feeding tonight also Bc the baby got a brand new nurse and I’m afraid he won’t do good at all with her. They all think he does good with me we’ll Bc I’m his mom. Am I crazy for going every feeding tonight? I’m excited yet extremely nervous to be let down by the doctor or if my baby just doesn’t want to eat good anymore. Has anyone been through this or similar?
