Bassinet to pack-n-play.. need advise
Okay moms... my 3 month old is outgrowing his bassinet and it's time to move him to the pack-n-play at night (not using a crib due to convenience/ limited space). Problem is, he HATES it. He sleeps fine in his bassinet b/c it's smaller and cosier, not so much open space. He falls asleep on his own every night, and self soothes pretty well if he wakes. Well not in the pack-n-play. In there he won't go to sleep on his own, and if I put him in there already asleep he will wake up and cry. So I guess my question is, does anyone have any advise on how to ease him into it more comfortably? Make it not seem so big and scary to him, but still follow safe sleep guidelines? I didn't think something like this would create such an issue so I'm puzzled and lost. FYI he hates being swaddled, always has, & just letting him "cry it out" and get used to it isn't really an option as my kid has absolutely no problem staying up all night if he is uncomfortable. 🙄😑 TIA!
