For some the first time does, for me it didn't, if it does then try to use lube. As for the right age.. Don't just have sex because everyone else is or because you feel you need to lose your virginity, take it from someone who lost it to the wrong guy.. find someone worthy of taking your virginity.

The act didn't hurt me at all but the next day was very slightly painful almost like having cramps and it was the same for me the first 3-4 times.
As for when you do it firstly legal age of consent from wherever you're from and secondly whenever you feel ready 
There's no time limit most people who rush into it only regret it.
I lost mine at 18 to a guy that now means the world to me.
It really doesn't matter if you lose your virginity at 16 or 93

It isn’t the same for everyone, it hurt for some people & didn’t or hurt a little for others. It didn’t hurt the first time I had sex. And idk there is no specific age but imo you should be 16/17 (eh 16 is still young), be on birth control, use condoms, & be educated about STD’s/STI’s.
