Can I have surgery if I’m pregnant?

So, I’m having surgery this Friday for smithing small but it requires medication to put me to sleep and numbing. Very good possibility i conceived this month but I’m still on my two week wait and it’s too early to test. If I am pregnant will the baby be okay through surgery?

They should test you before regardless but let them know!

I don’t think any kind of surgery is allowed during pregnancy. I’d let them know what’s going on & possibly push the date as well if testing by then to be sure is too early.

It wouldnt effect the baby as it wouldn’t be implanted in your uterus yet, but better safe than sorry. Push it for after your two week wait and if you are pregnant reschedule entirely
