“Lainey” as nickname for Juliana?

Really love the nickname “Lainey” for our second, but already have a “Gemma Elena” so having an Elaine feels redundant. 
Think I could use Lainey as a nickname for Juliana, or even just Liana if having a Gemma and Juliana seems like we’re way too into rocks...?

I do love the name Juliana, but I think people would call her Julie rather than Lainey. I think Lainey works as a name itself, but here’s some other ideas:
Melanie 
Melaina 
Leilani 
Helena 
Eleanor

I wouldn't think Lainey would be a nickname from that, but you can literally call her whatever you want. My daughter is Delaney, and Lainey comes up as a nickname sometimes.

You can call her anything you like no matter her name. My brothers name is John, we call him Guy, but every one else calls him Jake. My cousins name is also John, he has always been called Jack. My grandmother is Margaret, but is called Peggy (I know that is the common nickname for Margaret, but it is no where in the name). It doesn't matter, you can nickname her whatever you like. That's why it's called a nickname!! 😁
