Hey ladies!

So my ESA ironically has anxiety and recently in the car he's been really nervous. He used to go on car rides all the time when I traveled or had to evacuate for a few hurricanes (I live in Florida, we traveled to Mississippi and he was fine-ish). Because of some events I had to take him to a foster parent and they didn't go on car rides or take him anywhere.

Since I've had him back, because of holiday travel he's been in the car a lot and he just can't seem to get used to it again. He has a very large crate for a cat and I even take him out of it and put his blanket down but he still screams and makes biscuits at the same time (which is what he's currently doing).

I'm not too worried about him because he doesn't shed or lick his mouth a lot during the ride but the screaming is a bit much, I dont want to miss it as a sign that he is really nervous and hates me temporarily.

Is there anything special you ladies have tried and worked?

note: I'm not going to give him benadryl to put him to sleep because he already takes medicine and that's a PETA to begin with.
