Not talking??

He understands and responds but he doesn’t say anything   The most he’s done is say hi/bye and no. We try more, cup, please, up, etc but he just won’t say anything! Anyone else??

Me! So frustrating!!! We just started early intervention. I'll snap some photos of the print outs they gave me in a little bit! They come every week and "Play" with him. And then they teach me how to play with him. Lol.

My son says things and talks a lot but I'm not sure what hes trying to say. The only thing I can clearly understand is, "what's that?". From other moms and google, 18 months is a huge development in their speech so I'm waiting until then to determine if I should be worried.

Mines not talking much at all... just mama, dada, baba and then says a lot of random sounds. He also doesn’t respond to his name most of the time.

I have the same issue! My little man only says banana and agua (water in Spanish) and he shakes his head no but doesn’t say the word. My doctor told us that he is behind physically (he doesn’t walk on his own)  and behind on his speech (doesn’t say atleast 5 words) So she recommended us to take physical therapy and speech therapy

I wanna say in literally the last 2 days she's  said a few more words. Randomly said target  and minnie. She was good with B words mostly...any other letter she would just babble like a minion.

Same. He talks jibberish non stop but will not repeat anything when we want him too. He will randomly repeat stuff like if he hears it on tv, but not if we want him to. And he usually won’t say it again. The only thing he’s consistent with is Go, mama, and dada.
