Tips for babies with acid reflux and sleep?

Question

My baby is 8 weeks old and fight sleeping in crib or bassinet. Dr says he has acid reflux. We keep him Straight up as long as we can and make sure he burps. He takes Zantac I don’t want him to sleep anywhere else because I fear SIDS. He only sleeps about 30-45 minutes on his own and then I have to intervene and rock him or let him sleep on my chest.
I am dreading the evening because of how hard it is. 😢
Anyone have the same issue- if so anything I can try?

I feel your pain, my LO would choke on her reflux at night very stressful and many sleepless nights. Honestly, the zantac has helped the most we have been on it for 4 weeks now and her symptoms have virtually disappeared. I do however sleep her on a slight incline. She sleeps in a cosleeper that sits on the bed and we put a towel underneath the mattress to incline slightly, it's maybe a 3 inch incline if that. I herd alot of people say the fisher rock & play sleeper worked miracles for them and thier reflux babies.

Have you tried burping him sitting up (while holding him) then putting him on your shoulder then burping him but keeping him upright at least 10 min? I am doing this and notice less spit ups. If I don’t keep her upright at least 5-10 min it comes back up

My daughter would not sleep for more than an hour at a time the past week, then we tried a new swaddle and different sounds as well as a snoozypod which makes her crib vibrate and she is has been sleeping in 3-4 hour sessions now during the night, only getting up twice to eat, this has lasted the past 3 nights so I’m hoping we found our answer. I give her mylicon gas relief drops as well. The swaddle we started using is a Halo sleepsack swaddle!

My LO pediatrician recommended me to purchase a pillow for acid reflux and it has helped tremendously combined with his prescribed medication.

My baby is 6 weeks old on pepcid for severe acid reflex, with gas ans colic. He takes 6ml of pepcid, and 3ml of little tummies gas relief. He is exclusively breastfeeding. As far as sleeping he would not sleep in his bassinet or crib for more than 15 minutes. He would wake up crying and screaming at the top of his lungs. He sleeps inclined on a Boppy pillow. I asked his pediatrician about this he said it's fine that it's better for them to sleep as an incline. Things have gotten better but it's definitely a challenge. My son loves the carrier that goes in front of your body. Things will get better you just need to see what works for your baby. I would definitely try gas drops after every meal. They're totally safe for babies.

My baby is the same way, except she spits up a ton, has gas, she’s projectile vimmites a few times, and when she lays on her back she seems to make so mush spit she almost chokes on it and blows spit bubbles. My heart hurts watching her in discomfort and I don’t sleep because I am so worried
