Is it common for misbehaving??

I'm 22 weeks +3 pregnant and my well trained adult Kelpie has all of a sudden started acting up, for example he runs away all the time now... is this common when their mumma is having a baby? Its stressing me out worrying where he will be next 😡

My dog hated me when I became pregnant and he still hate me when I gave birth lol. Its normal I guess for animals to act up. They can smell the hormones.

OMG, this sort of ties in but I was on the pill and I suddenly started gaining weight(like over about 2 weeks I gained 20 lbs), and my Border Collie acted like I didn’t exist,which is very odd for him. Long story short, I stopped the pill until I can get and IUD and now I’ve lost the weight and my dog is my best buddy again. Getting my IUD in a couple weeks.

Some animals react to pregnancy and others it doesn’t phase. I’ve even read of cats attacking their pregnant owner! Hopefully doesn’t continue after baby is here - my best friends dog has been misbehaving more because he’s been receiving less attention lol.
