Do any of y’all work from home?

Question

If you’re a stay at home mom and also work from home, how do you do it? When do you do it? I am about to start doing some work from home and am having a hard time figuring out when to do it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Please, no rude comments, I’m genuinely wondering how I can make this work.

I work while they're in school, so about 8am-1pm, and maybe about once a month I put in a couple of hours after they go to sleep, if I need to catch up on a project. 
The best part for me is the flexibility , I work on my terms and I don't need to call off if one of the kids is sick or I have to run an errand. And I love being able to focus, no chatty coworkers interrupting every few minutes. The lack of socialization doesn't work for some people, but I love it!

Yes I do but my child still goes to daycare. I kept her home till about 4 months and worked with her. Then she gets too active so that's when she went to daycare. I'm pregnant again and will probably do the same thing with this one.

I work a standard work day 8-5 when I work from home. 
WFH is not a substitute for child care. Of course there are the the exceptions of when a child is sick and can’t go to school or daycare/babysitter is sick but in that case I may be having to take a sick day as well. When working from home nobody should be able to tell I’m not in the office. Meaning I’m still taking/leading all calls and meetings and nobody is hearing TV, kid, dog, house noises in the background.
