Scientifically it’s not needed. I reas about all of that and I wouldn’t put my baby through unnecessary pain.

It's not the norm here in Aus (at least where I am) to get it done. It's not medically neccessary so I wont be. Come to think of it, I've never actually seen a circumsized penis in my whole life 🤔

It’s my husband’s decision since he has a penis and I do not.

I asked my husbands opinion on whether we should or not. He is circumcised and he wants our little boy to be too. I also worked in the OR for a couple years and have assisted on so many grown adult men circumcision and it’s so hard on them for the recovery. The reason they even had the procedure done so much later in life is due to recurring UTI.

My husband isn’t cut, my son isn’t either. They’ve never had issues. I feel like Americans ask this question a lot. Wish you all the luck.

Literally fought with my husband about this in the car today. All of his reasons For are “I don’t want my kid to have an anteater dick” and “I think it’s gross.” 
Not finding either of those to be particularly compelling when it comes to removing a healthy part of my kid shortly after he’s born. 
I feel like I’m going to lose this one because this conversation makes him SO angry - but I just hate when people do things for purely emotional reasons.

I wanted to but dad says no so no we are not.

I am a registered nurse and a lot of old men who have not been circumcised do not receive proper perineal care and end up with endless infection. Many times leading to life threatening sepsis (blood stream infection). Just something to think about in the later years of your sons life.
