I'm about to start taking birth control but I don't know if i should take it the first Sunday after my period is gone or the last day of my period???

The earliest you would take it is when you period is over. As long as you take it daily it doesn't matter the day of the week. 
​The bc pills I used to be on came with day of the week labels so you could choose when to start & label you pack too.
