I was supposed to start my period today!

Help!!! To those of you who are pregers or have been (this is my first time trying) We started trying this month at the beginning of my cycle. My period was predicted to start today but it hasn't yet. I'm usually pretty regular. So I've been lightly cramping on and off since we started trying. Is this normal? I'm just so anxious to be a mom! I know it usually takes time...but the suspense is killing me!!!!
