How was your Nexplanon experience!?

Hi there! I’ve been on the pill for around a year and a half now and was looking for a more permanent solution, taking that thing every day has gotten at little irritating after awhile. I’ve had a pretty decent experience with the pill, just some irregular periods. I was wondering if y’all would be willing to share some of your stories below of side effects and such. Let me know everything there is! :))

I’ve had the implant for almost 11 months & like it. The only side effects I’ve experienced so far are spotting and not having a period (haven’t had one in 9 months which has been great)
Birth control does affect everyone differently though, a lot of people experience longer bleeding, continous spotting, mood swings, etc. whilen on this form of BC. So do your research on side effects beforehand

Great until the last year on it, then I'd have what I like to call a "reverse period" where I'd bleed 3/4 weeks. However, I did go to the gynecologist and she gave me divigel (an estrogen gel that you rub on your skin) which made the  reverse period go away within a week

when I got mine done it was only a small pain on injection site you can feel it through the skin of your arm they normally do it in your non- dominant arm. only side effect I've noticed is I had a longer period then normal about 8 days but since haven't had one
