Health Insurance Frustrations!

AND because my sonographer at my OB's office went out of personal leave unexpectedly I had to go to a different facility to get my ultrasound. Instead of a $50 copay (my OB sono price) I have to pay $315! Called insurance company and both offices no one will work with me except to setup a payment plan. It's not about having the money, it's about being screwed out of $265 that I would like to apply to the cost of delivery. It wasn't my fault or choice to go somewhere else! why am I penalized! 

Sorry for the rant!! I work in Human Resources and deal with the disappointments of our health insurance system everyday!
