My LO is 8 weeks old, I want to start the transition from bassinet to pack n play/crib before my maternity leave is up. He will stay in our room for a few more months at least. He does OK in bassinet the first half of the night, then he either ends up in my bed or we spend a lot of time trying to go back to sleep in the bassinet. I want to start with naptimes for the transition, but If i lay him down in either the crib/pack n play, he instantly wakes up. We still swaddle, arms out, but i think the big open space of the crib can be scary. Im leery of the dockatot because of the price tag. Any other recommendations? Are they worth it? Im not interested in CIO plus he's way too young for that.
