MILs...amiright??!?

My MIL and her ENTIRE family insist on telling me I’m carrying a boy despite having told them that both ultrasounds AND an NIPT blood test confirmed it’s a girl. 🤦‍♀️ like, really? You think you can tell by my belly but medical science is wrong? LOL

NIPT is 99% accurate. No your mil can't tell just by looking at you vs chromosome test lol
My mom had no concept of the NIPT test either, and when she was pregnant the ultrasounds were not clear at all. Just smile

Sounds annoying as hell. Like shut up already and be excited about this baby 😂 I was in a similar(ish) situation with my family/MIL after we announced that I’m 5 months pregnant with our third son. Not a single family member congratulated me but instead greeted the news with sarcastic “can’t make a girl, can we” and jokes about how “fun” life will be with 3 boys. Even my MIL stood there blankly and said “well I’d like to switch it up and get a girl, if you don’t mind” after we told her (my husband is her only child therefore our sons are her only grandkids). It’s very rude and upsetting!

The only time I’ve heard of the doctors being wrong, she only had one ultrasound - the anatomy scan. And apparently the tech didn’t get as good of a view as she thought. You’ve had confirmation.
Don’t you just love crazy and invasive family?

I mean, it's probably not wrong, but doctors thought I was a boy until the day I was born. 😅 Only my mom and grandma knew I was a girl.
