Sweet hubby

My whole pregnancy has been great. Haven’t had a lot of pain or anything and I have done most of the regular things that I always do. Of course no heavy lifting or anything.. but I haven’t had to complain to my hubby very much. This morning I woke up to a completely sore butt, due to probably overdoing it yesterday. I moved and organized the garage a little, took down and put away the Christmas tree and decorations, cleaned our downstairs and even went to the gym to run, bike and use the stepper.

So when my husband got up for work, I had to ask him to plug in my heating pad. He asked if I was ok. I told him I was just sore, maybe because I did a little too much yesterday. Before he leaves he comes to tell me that I need to take it easy today and get some rest. I told him I had to clean the house today, but he said save my energy and don’t do much. He even told me to make sure I take a nap. Not even 5 minutes after he leaves, he texts me and tells me he wants me to stay home today because it’s really cold and raining really hard.

I’m just not used to my husband being so concerned and caring. I’m usually so independent that he doesn’t show this side much. It may not be much to others, but it’s a breath of fresh air for me. Makes me feel confident in him helping and being caring when little man comes.
