My boyfriend is a huge baseball fan. He is especially a huge fan of Mickey Mantle and his middle name is Charles after Mickey Mantle's middle name bc his parents were also fans. He wants to name our son Mickey which I'm still feeling unsure though I like the meaning of the name my friends and coworkers have been tearing the name apart with Mickey Mouse jokes. I like that it's not common but I'm having a hard time getting away from the negative comments so I'm not sure how I really feel about it. A name we agreed on is Elijah which is beautiful but so common I don't want it to be the first name. So my boyfriend suggests Mickey Elijah as the name. Thoughts? Positive and negative views are welcome. I just want opinions from outsiders vs my friends. Thanks in advance. 😊
