So just some background: I had my last appointment on Friday and when I got checked I was still closed but my cervix was soft and thinning out. Went back today for another check and I was 2.5cm dilated and 50% effaced! I am so excited about the progress! He also did a membrane sweep while he was in there. Since my appointment I’ve been having some period like cramping, watery discharge and lots of back pain! Is this all normal? I’m a FTM and have no idea what’s normal and what’s not. Did membrane sweep work for you? I know it will only work if baby is ready but I am just curious if it worked and how long it took to work?!
