Is it normal for your boobs not to produce any milk while you’re pregnant?

I can’t really get a straight answer from Google, I was just wondering if nothing happens with your boobs during pregnancy does that mean you’ll not produce milk after you have the baby? Because I don’t have any symptoms at all and I know some women leak colostrum and have itchy boobs or sensitive nipples but that stuff doesn’t really happened to me.

Hum I never produced any milk with any of my kids while pregnant am produced way more milk then I needed after baby was born. I actually had over active milk production . Having milk in before birth or not having it generally has nothing to do with after baby comes

Your breast are still producing colostrum even if you don’t have any signs of it, not every woman leaks. The itching/sensitivity is usually related to breast growth, and another thing not every woman experiences

My first baby was born prematurely and I was not able to hold her for long periods of time or let her breastfeed, so it was work to get my breastmilk to come in. It did eventually come in once she was around two to three weeks old. Second pregnancy, I’ve leaked here and there. Just because you aren’t having signs yet, it will still eventually come in. Especially if you start pumping if you can’t go straight to breast feeding. :)

I never leaked or had any signs of milk production in my first pregnancy and I’m 34 weeks with my second and still no sign. Breastfed my first for 14 mos with no issues whatsoever

Try and milk yourself lol. I thought nothing was happening and then I learned how to milk myself and colostrum comes out. I don’t leak it. I have to force it out.

I never leaked before baby came and never had a problem with milk production. My son is 9 months and we are still breastfeeding with no problems.

Your body doesnt think its time for it to produce a significant amount of milk if there is no baby. Just because women leak doesn't mean anything. They can still have trouble producing milk once LO is born. I would not worry not one bit unless you dont produce milk 3 days after your LO is born. If you worried about supply there is tea and other stuff that's natural you can take. Also if your low in iron that can have a major effect on production of milk. So vitamins play a really big part on good milk supply as well.
