Scary movies with monsters/aliens?

We just watched The Mist from 2007 last night and now my husband wants to watch something similar. We won't watch Bird Box. We want monsters lol any suggestions?

Some of my favorites are 
Aliens: Attack the Block (comedy horror), the Alien series, the Predator series, the Thing (I like the remake), Signs, Cloverfield, War of the Worlds.
Monsters: Trick r Treat, The Descent, Jeepers Creepers, 30 Days of Night (vampires), Stephen King's The Langoliers, The Cabin in the Woods.
Keep in mind, I tend to like movies others don't...
