Can eating human flesh be harmful?

There's potential diseases that the person may be carrying that could be transmissible through blood or other bodily fluids. I believe there's also the potential to develop a SPECIFIC disease from eating the human brain (or any primate brain if I remember right), which makes you a) absolutely bonkers and b) want to eat more, which is where part of the idea of zombies come from (though that's a very loaded and complicated history), but I don't remember what that disease is called.
