If you were sitting down and a pregnant woman walks in with no more chairs available, would you offer yours?

Just wondering. Ive been pregnant for a long 9 months and ive never been in a situation where someone has offered to move so i could sit down. It gets to a point where im in so much pain if i stand up for too long but ill be damned if i ask someone if i can sit😂😂 
Honestly if someone offered i would probably thank them and say "im fine"... so i definitely am not judging whether you would or wouldnt. I mean who says you should have to move if you were there first? I was just curious if anyone actually offers because ive never experienced it.

I did once and got yelled at because "I would have asked if I needed it, so sit back down!"
Also I'm terrified of the thought of presuming someone is pregnant when they are in fact just fat 🤷‍♀️

I would offer because trust me I wanted it while pregnant lol, I always offer it to older people and pregnant women! Always have it’s how I was raised

Yes I would, it’s just common courtesy and less risk to baby if mum is sitting down when traveling etc. 
But I can assure you I ask people to let me sit as well, people are oblivious because of technology and when they realise someone is pregnant they usually do offer.

I remember reading on tumblr that some man was being an ass and wouldn’t give his seat up to a pregnant woman (his explanation being that if women want to be equal to men, we don’t get any “handicaps” 🙄), and the woman ended up puking on him.

I would get up in a lot of situations. Im pregnant currently, but pregnant women, elderly and sometimes kids I would get up for. And my husbands absolutely would. He has before

Yes I would, because I could be the only person in a room who does...and also as a way to give back the generosity I've received towards this while pregnant. 
I can't even be on public transit anymore without at least a couple people offering up their seat! 
But where I'm from is known for being courteous and polite...I'm surprised by some of the responses here saying that they've never been offered!

absolutely. from the very beginning of my pregnancy i developed hypothyroidism and could barely stand for more than a minute (i literally sat down in an isle at the dollar store once). then by the time i had that under control i was so heavy and swollen i still couldn’t stand up for long lol. i will offer my seat any time i can.

So long as they’re polite and not entitled or assume I’m going to give it up. I have health problems that mean I can’t always offer my seat up especially on the bus and have been yelled at by old people and (very few but still some) pregnant people saying I’m a useless teenager who has no respect for anyone. 
Mostly however I do try my hardest by respect is a mutual thing and important for me.
