So this hasn’t happened since right after I had my second child, a little over a year ago. For starters I have an IUD, and I know that birth control of any kind can affect your period. Still when I was 23 days late I was freaking out so I took quite a few pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. With that, I assumed the late period was because of the IUD. But now that my period has shown up and been here for a full week (it normally only lasts 4 days) I have started seeing dark red chunks on my pads, similar to the chunks you see after having a baby..... what is going on?? Help please...
