Poem for my daughter to be
They say love at first sight is the most real
Then how is it that I’m so in love with someone I can only feel
To know I am yours and you are mine
I wait patiently for the day that we will bind
For your happiness is all I’ll ever need
As mother and daughter we shall be
For you are my life now as I will watch you grow
Please dear God let the time go slow
