Did my water break?

I think my water just broke. I woke up to wee and felt something and water was dropping down my leg. Then when I sat on the toilet the toilet there was a gush but it wasn't that much... I also lost my mucus plug. If my water did break and I go get checked will they keep me in or send me home until contractions start?

I got sent home after my waters broke with my first without getting checked over at all just gave me cocodamol and said I wasn’t in labour.Had my baby 40 minutes later after going back and demanding they checked me over. Definitely get checked over! Good luck

If your water broke then the hospital will keep you. After the water is broken the risk of infection increases. You should go in and get ready for your bundle of joy to arrive. 🤗

Go get checked! I thought mine might have broken but brushed it off now I'm in the hospital on antibiotics three days later because it turns out it was my water 😳

Omg have you had your baby? I called and they said to come in but if it is the waters they like you to deliver within 24 hours.
