Opiates & irregular periods....?

Question

Does anyone else have irregular periods because of using opiates prescription for health issues (or addictions)? I just got my first period in four years on December 31 & I have alot to ask and/or talk about! I am new to this app and this is my first time discussing this topic ever!

I’ve been on them for 6 years and the only reason my period has ever been late is because I have PCOS. 
Opiates don’t usually make your period irregular. I’d talk to the dr that prescribed it to you. When I missed my period, I asked if it could have been affected by it and she said no.

I would go to the doctor. 
I don’t believe opiates can cause irregular periods like that.
