Yesterday morning, I woke up to a big puddle of water in my bed. My first thought was “GREAT! She’s finally coming!!” But I have also been sleeping with a water bottle every night since I got pregnant since I get very dehydrated in the middle of the night. Of course, the water bottle was upside down next to my crotch as I woke up. I use a self locking Contigo was bottle, and haven’t had a single problem with it the past 9 months.

My husband and I just exchanged looks for a while and couldn’t stop laughing. Was it time or did my water bottle decide that today was the day it would start leaking?!?!

I kept flipping the water bottle upside down to see if it would drip, but nothing!!!

So we decided, might as well call the doctor and go in 🤷🏻‍♀️ the night before I was suffering from irregular contractions!

We couldn’t stop laughing because this is something that would only happen to me!

Went to the doctor, and unfortunately, my water didn’t break. I ended up crying, mainly out of frustration, and a little out of embarrassment.

Currently 38w&3d, and I’m just over the “is it happening?!” painful fake outs. I just want to meet my baby girl!!!
