Lh surge

For the past two months I haven’t detected an lh surge. This is the first time this has happened in a year ad a half of tracking it. I’m 39, my cycle is regular, 26-28 days with AF lasting 5-7. I’m worried I am not ovulating or that I’m out of eggs. Has anyone else had this issue of no lh surge detected? Should I go to my fert dr to have another test done to see if my egg reserve is empty? We did ivf and had a chemical pregnancy back in may. We have one frozen embryo left but the funding ran out so now we have to wait to do that transfer when/if the funding comes back or somehow find the money out of pocket to do it. We are also going to talk to the dr about doing iui while we wait for funding since it a lot less expensive.
