Hey mamas - so I pre-registered at the hospital the other day and the lady mentioned to me that they only have hospital gowns so if I wanted to bring something more comfortable, to just have the heads up.

Ideally, I was already thinking of trying to find a loose t-shirt style short nightgown, or something similar with nursing flaps maybe... anything that is loose, cotton, comfy.

Other than trying to regular stores like wal-Mart or Joe Fresh, and then maybe looking at some maternity stores, does anyone who has been through the labour process already have suggestions or things I may not think of as a first timer?

I’m actually not going to be birthing in a regular hospital setting, as my hospital has a midwifery unit which provides more options for birthing than just the hospital bed. So, I probably have a little flexibility in having some extra home comforts during the whole labour process.
