39 weeks tomorrow

I woke up with terrible back pain at 12:45 this morning. Noticed some contractions so laid there. At 1:20 I started timing them. They were every 4-5 minutes. At 2 I get up to take a shower and they’re still coming. I wake my husband up at 2:20 because they were getting stronger. We decide to go to the hospital and leave an hour later. Sure enough on the way the contractions slow down and once I get there they’ve almost completely stopped. I wanted a New Years baby but I guess he wasn’t ready! 8 days until my due date. 🤞🏻

Now he says we’re not going back until I can’t talk or walk through them. 😒
