Brown discharge

Is it only a sign that your period is coming (I’ m used to it before af comes), or does it also occur for a pregnancy?? I have irregular cycles so I can’t really guess what’s happening next. I’m 14dpo but still 4 days before period (I guess) and tests are all negatif :(
