Plenty of people do and have for centuries. As long as everyone involved is on the same page about it, you don't HAVE to have sex to have a healthy/successful relationship. And I'm not talking just religious people either - asexual, sex-repulsed, and demisexual people exist and can have healthy/successful relationships without sex.
