alright so i am currently a full time college student and i’m living at home with my parents until this coming fall when i will be transferring to dorm life and living on campus. i have been seeing a man who is 9 years older than me for the past few months, and my boyfriend really wants to meet my family and my parents would love to meet him. the age gap hasn’t been a problem for either of us, and both of our families and friends know about it. although it’s not being kept a secret, i still feel nervous about introducing him to my parents. idk i can’t get past this feeling of worry. i really like him and i want him to be accepted and i know my parents can be quite conservative and judgmental.

i’m posting to ask if any of you have any tips on how to make this go smoothly...? also, i’d love to hear about any experience you’ve had with dating someone significantly younger or older and how that impacting your life!!!!
