Quick question about opk’s

So since ovulation occurs 12-36 hours after the positive opk does that same day of the positive count as actual ovulation day then the next day would it be considered 1dpo? I’m just confused on that last time I hit a positive on my opk I think I got 2-3 positive opk’s after that and then they all went negative...just a little confused and would appreciate the help.
