Is miralax safe for early pregnancy?

Hey everyone this is my first pregnancy and I am 9 weeks today. I have had TERRIBLE gas pains and constipation for 4 days now. I need relief and was wondering if any of you have used miralax in your pregnancy? Also any remedies to help avoid constipation are appreciated!

My doctor told me it was safe and I used it during my last pregnancy with no issues.

That’s what I was prescribed with 2nd pregnancy. She also prescribed colas

I used Metamucil during my pregnancy. Stool softener is usually fine. Definitely have it on hand for postpartum lol

It might be ok, but I’d probably recommend calling your OB’s office. Most offices have a nurse triage line you can call and they would be able to confirm whether it’s ok for you or not. I run anything new medication wise by my doctor at appointments or I call nurse triage. They are so helpful!
Also this sounds odd but if I’m feeling constipated I’ll eat blueberries. Like one of the small containers lol I don’t know why but it really helps me! It’s not immediate like medication but usually within a few hours or over night it’ll “get the job done”
