What curler is this?

Can anyone PLEASE tell me what curler or product is used for this hair style ? I want to cut me hair short this week and style it like this! I love it 🤪 thank you

My mom is a hair dresser of over 30 years and I am also super into styling and I find the best way to control and master curls is to master your straightener iron. If you start at the top and turn it away from your face until the extra strand is almost facing you and hold that piece out as you pull down you will get a nice curl. The less far and faster you curl it the looser it comes out. Curls like this are almost definitely from a straightener, or at least that’s how I would achieve this.

I would use a flat iron for the top one because it’s a bit shorter. For the shoulder length one I would use a curling iron but leave the ends out. That’s just my preference. I’m a stylist and when my hair is shorter I find it easier to use the flat iron but when my hair is longer I find that to be a pain and use a curling iron, about 1” taking vertical sections and curling away from the face.
