Transvaginal US at 12 weeks? Plus size?

Just curious... anyone out there still need to have a TV US at 12 weeks? We tried abdominal but no luck... Then right away, TV there was baby. Just curious of others. I'm 5'9" 253 lbs, and carry most of my weight in my belly area. Here is a pic of the US!

They usually do that type if you are less than 15 weeks. They see the baby better that way.  I had 3 dome that way

My first US was TV at 7 weeks 
My second at 12+2 weeks was abdominal 
I'm 5'5 and 234 lbs

I'm 5'5 and 190. They did a regular u/s on my abdomen at 11 weeks and found the baby. No joke I probably would have refused the transvaginal lol, my friend told me it's like a gigantic wand they stick inside of you and it hurts.

I had a transvaginal US at 11 wks and I weighed about 135, so I don't know if it just varies doctor to doctor or what. Although unlike what some people said it didn't hurt.

I'm 5'11 and I'm 13+2 and 334 lbs went for us yesterday and they were able to do abdominal only. I carry all in my belly too

I was almost 13 weeks 295 and they were able to do some abdominal but had to switch to vaginal to finish because the baby was still really low like right at my belly roll.
