Missed period after HSG but not preg. Normal?

Hi! I am usually having regular menses. But I'm 9 days late and not preggy. We didn't had sex the month we did HSG so I'm sure I'm not preggy, and I tried the pregnancy kit and it is negative.
Is it normal? Anyone else experience this?
