So I first had sex October 6ish (woohoo), and we did have unprotected sex (ooo 😬). I wanted to get tested for STD/HIV after loosing my virginity and do what’s responsible to have safe sex , I realize after loosing it how important and necessary it is to get tested and stay safe.

Anyways, I know you have to wait 3 month after having sex - that’s cuz it takes that long for HIV to show in your blood, if you do have it. It’s been almost three months. Because of my work schedule and the hours/days Planned Parenthood is open, i can’t book an appointment after January 6. So I’m thinking to book an appointment the 4th - that is the latest I can do; my concern is do I have to be on the dot (get tested the 7th or later cuz I had sex Oct 6) for the test to be accurate?
