Do you judge when people stay in abusive relationships?

No, i just really wish that they'd leave them. I know it's harder done than I think it is but I won't judge them for staying.

A lot of bad habits are hard to leave but allowing someone to abuse me and harm me is not okay. Staying is giving that person permission to do as they wish upon you.

I judge. I judge hard. Not because they stay but because they complain about it and complain about it and give all sorts of sob stories and so many people offer to help but they still stay. 
I was in abusive relationship and kept it to myself because I was embarrassed of staying and when I finally couldn’t take it anymore I opened up and I jumped on the first opportunity I got when someone offered help. 
If you are being abused and you have options and support and you stay- that’s on you. 
Especially if you have kids, I’m judging harder! 
No way I would keep my child in a toxic environment if I had the opportunity to give them better. My child is the reason I left.

I can’t judge because I’ve been in the situation. I constantly stayed knowing that he was hurting me, physically and emotionally. I kept hoping things would get better. I thought I loved him. I thought he loved me. Once I got out, I saw the reality. I try to help people who are in abusive situations but it will always be hard for them to leave especially if they’ve been with that person for a long time. 
For 2019, I hope everyone in abusive relationships get out, safe and sound. I never want anyone to be in the position I was where I was terrified and lost. 
I left my abusive husband a year ago, December 31st 2017, when he almost killed me. I finally was able to file for divorce today because in the state of NC, we had to be separated for a year.

I never judge someone staying with or leaving any partner. Every story is different and they have to write their own.
I do get incredibly sad when women are in abusive relationships and I help when I can, but ultimately, it's their life.
