Contemplation of having a Baby
My husband and I thought long and hard before TTC. Not just when to have a kid, but IF we should at all. We looked at our backgrounds, how we wanted to live, and the state of the world. We thought about the baggage we bring from how we were raised and if we wanted to pass on our genetics.
Talking to other colleagues apparently most people don’t do this. They just have kids to have kids. Did anyone else have these kinds of discussions or contemplations?
