How much you out into 401k?

How much you put into your 401k not including your company match? Just you, not your spouse

I do 20%. Didn’t start there but gradually increased it up to that amount

I have 5% atm. I’m slowly trying to increase it to 10%. My dad always told me when I was younger to pay yourself first. He puts 10% into his 401k and I’m trying to get to that point as well.

I usually put 3% but with unpaid maternity leave coming up I have it at $10 which is the minimum. I’ll go back up to 3% after my leave is over.
