So November 22, 2018 i thought i proposed to my boyfriend.

I told my boyfriend if i asked you to marry me would you say yes.. He said...yes so i told him to close his eyes i got a engagement 💍 n put it on him and i told him to open his eyes n i said u said yes say yes he said yes so boom im thinking were engaged he kisses me calling me his fiance seemed happy from what i thought i call my momma n tell her n im telling all my close family were engaged weeks later he tells me he told his mom

So yesterday we get into a confrontation n he tells me we were never engaged because i never asked him i never said WILL YOU MARRY ME

so now im confused im aking him well why go along with it tell your mom and be so happy calling me your fiance if you really didnt believe were engaged

He say i did not wanna hurt ur feelings

We have discussed marriage in the past

N he always say he want to marry me

And he said if i was to ask him he would not feel no type of way its a new millennium

So you guys who is wrong in this situation me him or both please explain why
