Am I in the wrong?

So my husband and I have decided to not tell anyone till after our first appointment at 8 weeks. The only people we have told are his parents/siblings and my mom. I REALLY want to tell my best friend. My husband wants to wait.. am I in the wrong for wanting to tell her?

I don’t think you’re wrong to want to tell you best friend. I waited to tell mine during my first pregnancy, but told her as soon as I found out I was pregnant the second time (last October). I ended up miscarrying and I was glad that she knew and was able to support me. Do what you feel is best! 😊

I found out on New Years Day I was pregnant from the positive pregnancy test... just told my sister today. My partner has also told his sister.
I’d LOVE to tell our parents but my Mum is such a blabbermouth that I’m too scared to tell her because I don’t want her to tell everyone. So torn by what to do!

I told one of my good friends before I even told my parents with my first pregnancy. She was pregnant too and I just had to tell someone.

I’m so torn on this. I know that he probably wants very few people to know because there is a chance of miscarriage and the more people who know, the more people you have to explain yourself to which can be very hard after a loss. However, this person is your best friend and I’m sure you want them with you through it all and that you’re excited to tell them. Try to calmly talk to him and give him room to express his feelings on this as well. I’m not telling ANYONE until 8 weeks including my mom, so I know how hard the wait is. Best of luck!
