What was your last meal before your csection?

I know i cant eat 7 hours before my csection. That puts me at my last chance to eat is 3am.did you guys get up to eat at this time? What was the last thing you ate? They told me try not to eat anything heavy like steak.

Have you ever been so hungry that it just goes away and you don't feel hungry anymore? That's how I felt for mine. Plus I was more upset that they wouldn't let me drink water then the food thing. And when I was allowed to drink I almost vomited for like 3 hours so I DEFINITELY didn't want food. I think I went like a day and a half without anything. (My surgery schedule was a freaking disaster)

Rofl i always go out and get my favorite meal which is uasually a meal from our local A&W (they use different ingredients then most places) but no i dont wake up because i know how exhuasted im going to be after my c aection so i just get some sleep

What ever you eat.... still ask for the nausea medicine so you do not get sick from not eating but also when you do eat you don’t get sick. The medicine is disgusting but you will be so grateful for it!

My doctor said nothing heavy incase I didn't tolerate my meds good but that's a long time not to eat and a big surgery so I had Mexican food lol

Lucky you! My c section was scheduled for 4pm and I wasn’t allowed to eat anything after midnight the night before. I was so sick after my c section, I didn’t actually eat anything till the following day when breakfast came around. 
My last meal, we went to a little Italian restaurant had some delicious mussels oreganta, and then I had a seafood dish with home made pasta and tiramisu. Yummmyyy!  This time will be completely different as it’ll be our last night as a family of 3.

I ate a Big Mac and fries before my c section but it was unplanned. So probably 17 hrs after my burger I had the surgery.

Dude they’ve got my csection scheduled for 12 pm on the 17th 🙄 I’m such a fatty and so pissed. Then I wonder when they’ll let me eat after surgery 🧐 I wake up starving every morning so that should be interesting to have no coffee or food lol

I was getting induced and they told me only liquids during that time. And me being unprepared and late we stopped and got me a 10piece nugget meal from McDonald’s LMAO and luckily we did! Because 28 hours of labor followed by an emergency csection! And I wasn’t allowed to eat until the next day after I had passed a bunch of gas 🙈
