Okay so basically me and my boyfriend had a talk last night about when he is gonna propose and marry me and he said when we get settled in and get a house and all that good stuff(we have been together 8 years) but anyways my parents already told me they would never come to the wedding. We live on our own and I told my boyfriend it doesn’t matter because our family would only be there for that day but he wants it to be the best day of my life. Like i said only problem is my parents wouldn’t even come if I paid them too. We are still gonna get married regardless but he doesn’t want my parents to not be there on the big day but I know for a fact they won’t come. he just wants them to come for that day but ivetold him they won’t. He said that won’t stop him from marrying me though. So I literally have to find someone to pretend to be my mom like possibly my aunt which is embarrassing. Has anyone been in this situation? What would you do?
